What happens when you cross the ruthless and deadly Vandar raiders who roam the galaxy? These women are about to find out....

Possessed (Book one):
I sacrificed myself to save my sister’s ship. Now, the alien warlord owns me. The dark and menacing raiders are known for terrorizing the galaxy, and I'm forced to share a bed with the most ruthless one of them all. But the dominant warlord wants more than my submission--he wants to possess my soul.

Plundered (Book two):
My sister gave herself to the raider warlord to save me. Now, I’m hunting him down and getting her back. Everyone knows the Vandar raiders are cruel and merciless, so when my ship is attacked by another of the alien race’s warlords, I expect to be blown out of the sky. Instead, he takes me as his captive. I may be the warlord’s property, but no way will I submit to his demands. Even if his hard body and fiery eyes ignite a desire in me like nothing has before.

Pillaged (Book three):
I was promised against my will to an empirical general, so I escaped, only to end up right into the arms of an even more ruthless Vandar warlord who wants to claim me as his. But he has no intention of forcing me. He wants to make a deal—become his willingly, and I will get what I’ve always wanted—my freedom from a loveless, arranged marriage. Can I agree to a deal with the darkly dominant warlord who stokes both my fear and desire?

This collection of three full-length sci-fi romance novels contains lots of HEAs and no cheating. It features steamy scenes on a raider warship, alien horde space battles, and some serious enemies-to-lovers and fake relationship heat.

If you like dominant and dangerous alien warriors, alien abduction to seduction romance, and kickass heroines, you’ll love this collection of the first three novels in Tana Stone's best-selling Raider Warlords of the Vandar series.

The story is fantastic

The story is great. All the elements I require. Story/world building, sexual tension, FILTHY sex scenes, battles, dominant males etc. I love it!
The real frosting on the cake is Marcio Catalano's voice. It's like deep, dark silk being poured into your ears and senses. Trust me. This series is A+++

Steamy, suspenseful and captivating alien romances

I love a book with a sexy alpha hero and a sexy, smart heroine and add in aliens dressed and acting like Vikings to the mix - yes please. Despite the FMCs being “taken” as the property of the Vandar, these are not dubcon or noncon situations. The relationships all the couples develop organically without forced intimacy. The stories were well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and an engaging storyline with all the good elements that you’d expect from this genre - fighting, dangerous situations, alien physiology and cultures, evil actors, loyal friends, painful pasts, drama, snark, mystery, plot twists, and laughs. The development of interesting secondary characters was good and had me waiting anxiously for more books with them in starring roles. I will definitely be reading more of this series. Vandar warriors are clearly no match for human females.

Possessed

Astrid is a human woman who works on her sister’s transport ship as a navigator. A lapse in attention by her causes the ship to inadvertently enter Vandar airspace. Kratos is a Vandar warrior and the Raas of his horde. When he boards Astrid’s ship and she offers to take her sister’s place to save her sister’s life, Kratos agrees because he is drawn to her.

Plundered

Tara is a human woman who is the captain of a transport. Her sister was taken prisoner by a Vandar Raas and she has been looking for her ever since. Kaalek came to destroy Tara’s ship for encouraging the Empire to attack the Vandar. In exchange for not destroying her ship, Tara agrees to go willingly with Kaalek back to his Vandar ship.

Pillaged

Toraan is the Raas of one of the largest Vandar hordes. Rachel is a human who was sold to the Admiral of the Empire as his bride. While having a wedding dress fitting, the Empire ship is engaged in a battle with two Vandar hordes and Rachel uses that distraction as a way to escape. Toraan’s horde captures her ship and upon learning who she is to the empire, he offers to mate her as protection for her and an insult to the Empire.

Addison Barnes and Marcio Catalano did a phenomenal job narrating the stories and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly. These books were great to read as ebooks but the narration brings the stories to a whole new level.

Amazing narrators and captivating stories

overall, I really enjoyed this series. I found each story to be captivating and kept me interested throughout. I really enjoyed the world building and lore that she included throughout. The narration style is a bit different, with the male reading all male parts and the female reading all female parts. I didn't know that going in, but it was a pleasant surprise. My biggest complaint is with book 3, which I am currently 22 chapters into. I will finish the series, at this point I'm 15 hours in, but this story feels very different in comparison to the other two. Maybe it's because this is focused on the youngest brother, so maybe his short sightedness is because of that, but with the premise being that he essentially is the "best at playing the long game", and the female lead supposedly has a photographic memory, I find it to be a little annoying that she needs to be constantly reminded of things that have been said to her, repeatedly, and I find it equally annoying that the male lead is so blatantly willing to withhold important information from her. I can see what the author is trying to do, but I just feel like it's a weird plot device, especially since the other Roz's have always made such a big deal about "A Roz never lies", Rachel in this story even discusses how Toraan would likely think her "withholding information would be the same as lying". yes, girl. I agree. so why is he doing that exact thing to her? idk. this last book is not my favorite. if the others were like this, I would have asked for the credit back. Great narrators can't save a poorly written story filled with plot-holes. Thankfully, the other two stories don't have any of the same issues. I would recommend the first 2 books of this series highly. I will update this review when I finish the last book if it somehow surprises me and I end up loving it.

Great story

Love that these stories are ready by more than one narrator. It adds more to the realism of the story. Also a plus that you get three books in one audiobook.

These men are irredeemable

I'm on the second book, bored out of my mind still and not wanting to get to the 3rd. the characters are poorly written, the women are seemingly incredibly dumb and the, what i assume is meant to be "banter" between the characters in the second book is unbearably cringe-worthy, uncreative, and just...boring. Also Every single one of these books makes me wonder if this author actually understands how consent works....the men are the WORST, give supper creepy rape-y vibes, have no character building or redemption, no change in their behavior, and yet somehow you're supposed to like them? they suck, I wanted the second guy dead the entire time. he doesn't have a single redeeming quality. this is possibly one of the worst I've found in the scifi romance genre which is really a low bar sadly.
