How to Keep and Grow Ducks on Your Property for Meat, Eggs, Feathers, and as Pets
Ducks are amazing birds!

With skillful maintenance and the right choice of breeds, keeping ducks in a courtyard or on a farm is extremely profitable, especially if there is a small pond nearby. The duck does not need perches or nests - it will suit the usual room: a simple canopy and straw bedding. It feeds on greens, grains, kitchen waste - almost any food available on the farm, and feels good on pasture.
Another product of domestic duck breeding is feathers. They make soft fluffy pillows and light and warm quilts.
And yet ducks are mainly a meat species of poultry. Their characteristic features are good viability, fertility, high-grade dietary meat and fairly good egg production.
Ducks make great pets, if you know how to care for them properly.
