A comprehensive Paranormal Guide

Brad Steiger is one of the most prolific writers around today. This guy is an expert on UFO's and the paranormal, and this book shows his knowledge and skill as a researcher. By no means is this some short little guide to various encounters. No. This is an in-depth examination of otherworldly phenomena, that is meticulous in its details.

Hacker really brings the book to life, infusing it with a vitality of an enthusiast. He is not a boring reader, spouting words; no, he really carries the weight of the message in his voice and compels you to listen further. This is a long book, almost 18 hours of listening time, but it goes by so quickly that you do not notice.

I did get a free copy of this book as a promo to review, but in all honesty if it stunk I would say so and never blink. This is the real deal, and a wonderful compendium for anyone interested in UFOs of the paranormal.

Very compelling story. Audio quality is poor. Still, the story is worth it. narrator has great voice.

Story time at the library

Very good book. But oh god the narrator. why oh why when narrating peoples personal accounts does he use a baby voice. it is EXACTLY like someone reading to kindergartners. Absolutely terrible. How this got by editors I have no idea. It actually made me feel rage. I often had to bail on a chapter I could not listen to him. Ruined the book.

I enjoyed this audiobook. It is long, so that makes it worth a credit. I'd request more Brad Steiger audiobooks in the future.

95% hot chaff, 5% fun weird stories

These stories and interviews should be taken with a grain of salt. The narrator would over pronounce and stress syllables in words the seemed odd. An example would be Restaurant becomes “Restrent”, he pronounce humankind as two separate words. Even with the over the top and over embellished writing and the strange narration if you enjoy weird stories I would suggest a listen.

Captivating

Loved it, not so much about slender man, that's creepy, but great research here. The organization of the recalled accounts was professional and the delivery a joy.

Great book but the narrator, lol. Starting out he reads like he’s reading to a elementary class but gets better at times. It’s still a great book just have to over look sometimes being talked to like a 8 year old. Lol
