Keep moving

The plot sounded interesting and thought it would be a great opportunity to try out virtual voice narration.
The virtual voice is terrible. Coughing is pronounced couching. Sounds like a computer is reading lol. Can’t tell the difference between characters. Lines are repeated ( more than twice).
Now the story. I pushed through the first two books and thought the virtual voice was the problem but by the third book I was hitting the 30 seconds forward button constantly. Characters with self esteem issues droning on and and on so you know how bad their self esteem is.
Simple writing with bad lines ( like a c minus movie). But the worst and the thing that makes me embarrassed to admit I sat through these books came when the word “Poopsicle “. Let me write it again so you know it is not a typo. POOP-SICLE used over and over again. This is a skip.
