So Good!

This book is dual narration and Let me just tell you that Desiree Ketchum is TALENTED. I’m always in awe when a female is able to do both parts and you can differentiate characters! She is incredibly and I will be listening to many more of her narrations. As for Grayson Owens. He was the perfect southern cowboy. He made Gavin sounds so yummy! And thought Gavin is younger than Blake, Grayson did not make him sound childish or immature. He had a nice firm yet warming sound to him. Both narrators gave a lot of emotion in this story and it was an easy and enticing listen!

Holy cow!!

Wow is the first thing that comes to mind! This was my first book by Kayla and it was fantastic!! I loved the way she set the cowboy scene! Not a bit over done! Desiree and Grayson just took this to a level that can’t be matched!!!

Incredible Narration!

🤠This is such a great, cute story!!! I didn’t want it to end. It made me think of the book/tv series Heartland by Lauren Brooke meets Nicholas Sparks The Longest Ride.
🤠If you love a small town cowboy HEA romance with tropes such as brothers best friend where he falls first, witty banter, plus size representation, spice, and horses-then this book is perfect. Desiree Ketchum and Grayson Owens really did an amazing job helping bringing the characters to life. They’re voices made the story even more emotional for me -and that ending…all I have to say is whew 😥 🥵

Triumphant love story

This is not my first Kayla Grosse book, and I assumed I'd love it. I did, and it may be my favorite of her books!

Gavin and Blake's love story is snarky, fun, sweet, spicy, and heartwarming. But it's also a deeper tale of loss, grief, growth, and triumph.

As always, Kayla's storytelling is fantastic and her characters are well written. I am always pulled right into her beautiful stories.

Desireé and Grayson are not new narrators to me. I believe both performed masterfully in these roles. Their acting and emotions were amazing. I found myself holding my breath, laughing, and crying along with them. Very well done!

If you love cowboys, romance, and a story of triumph with terrific narration, get this audiobook!

I loved this book so much! The author did a wonderful job with the story. All kinds of mixed emotions in this book. Narrators did an amazing job bringing the book to life. It does end with an HEA! Great spice! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️❤️❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️❤️

So Many Emotions!!!

Let me start by saying I am a HUGE Kayla Grosse fan, but I hadn't read any of her full length novels as of yet, only the novellas (which I LOVE). This one has quickly became a top read/listen of the year for me!

As for the audio, and it was FANTASTIC! Grayson Owens and Desiree Ketchum were SO GOOD as Gavin and Blake! The fact that this took me on the rollercoaster of emotions & made me bawl, well you know I was gonna love it!

The story, the characters, their backstory, the feelings, the grief, it was all done in such a beautiful way! Blake, oh sweet Blake! I wanted to wrap her and her broken heart up in a hug! She touched me in such a way, it's hard to describe. I loved her and her journey in this, not just with Gavin, but with herself and her family as well.

Gavin, bless this man! He is cowboy gold! Hardworking, loves his family to a fault, & steaaaamy! Bless it is he steamy! Also, how he handles Blake and what she needs, is a thing of beauty!

I adored their story and will be re-reading again I'm sure! I cannot wait for Kade's story, because I just know he is gonna break me too!

Just okay

Stupid ending, not much drama or story. Was disappointed because I had to pay for it.

Loved this cowboy love story

Loved the strong female character, and a reverse age gap ;) narrators were absolutely amazing and performed this like a movie! Flawless! Loved the bonus soon too! Amazing spice with that!

This book was so cute but also dealt with some heartbreaking topics and had me in my feels.

Pairing Kayla’s phenomenal words with the magic and art that is Desiree Ketchum and Grayson Owen’s voices was a recipe for success! As a Texas girl born and raised, I loved the slight southern accents with certain parts of the story and that it wasn’t over the top southern.

Desiree and Grayson’s ability to tell stories and bring them to life the way that they do will never cease to amaze me! Had me sucked in from page one and I felt like I was right there with Blake and Gavin. Heartbreakingly beautiful story about love, loss and finding yourself ♥️
