Historia
When Michael Moorcock began chronicling the adventures of the albino sorcerer Elric, last king of decadent Melniboné, and his sentient vampiric sword, Stormbringer, he set out to create a new kind of fantasy adventure, one that broke with tradition and reflected a more up-to-date sophistication of theme and style. The result was a bold and unique hero: a rock-and-roll antihero who would channel all the violent excesses of the '60s into one enduring archetype.

A vibrant and powerful epic set against an alternate Bronze Age, this tale of gods, men and monsters, conspiracy and war, is a rich, compelling and original tale from a master of the historical and fantasy genres. The people caught up in toils of the gods are merely trying to survive. Victims of vicious whims, trapped by their circumstances or pushed beyond what the mortal frame can bear, a handful of god-touched mortals—a scribe, a warlord, a dancer and a child - are about to be brought together in a conspiracy of their own.

The Greatcoats - legendary heroes, arbiters of justice...or notorious traitors? The Greatcoats are travelling magistrates bringing justice to all...or at least they were, before they watched the Dukes impale their King's head on a spike. Now the land's heroes are reviled as traitors, their Greatcoats in tatters. Facio, Kest and Brasti have been reduced to working as mercenaries, but when they find their employer dead - and are forced to watch as the killer plants evidence framing them for the murder - they realise things are about to get even worse.

Resumen del Editor
Thrilling sword and sorcery adventure in the golden age tradition!
One night in Merth, that most westerly city tottering on the edge of the Succulent Sea, a desperate young poet swordsman and an ingenuous young tribal warrior meet by chance or fate or luck. Their unlikely friendship sets them on a course of adventures across the wild mysterious continent of Plemora, where they face monsters, magicians, maledictions, and things nameless and far stranger.
A novel-length collection of heroic fantasy sword and sorcery adventures in the tradition of the classic Golden Age (Jack Vance's Dying Earth series, Fritz Leiber's Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser, Michael Moorcock's Elric and Eternal Champions Series, Robert E. Howard’s Conan, C.L. Moore’s Jirel of Joiry, and the stories of H.P. Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, Poul Anderson, Roger Zelazny, and Henry Kuttner).
Written by Robert Zoltan.
Reseñas de la Crítica
“Dareon & Blue are worthy successors to Leiber's Fafhrd & the Gray Mouser.” (Bob A. Faust, author of Scrappers and Brink of Battle War-Games)
"...fans of classic pulp sword & sorcery adventures who are looking for new stories in the genre would be hard-pressed to find better reading." (Cirsova Magazine)
“Colorful and Exciting. The more involved stories show an imaginative force and a real belief in the core of the characters' motivations that compel the reader's interest. Dareon and Blue are interesting and involving people to spend time with. There is plenty of room for additional intriguing adventures for this pair of characters, and I for one will be happy to see where their lives lead them.” (Rich Horton, editor of The Year’s Best Science Fiction & Fantasy)

Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

Why are no female voice actors credited?
My only grievance with this audiobook production is that, at the time of this review, no female voice actors are credited in the Audible description or in the audio itself. I hope this gets corrected. The female voice actor(s?) did a great job.
As for everything else, I give this book a solid 4 stars. It is good sword & sorcery in the tradition of Robert E. Howard and even a touch of Michael Moorcock. Mr. Zoltan is a skilled writer and narrator, and hope he continues to deliver quality audiobooks such as this.
