Twisty, Difficult Story Structure, but Fun Plot
Okay, here’s the thing. I loved the story and plot, but I just didn’t vibe with the writing and structure. I’m not sure if it was such a mystery because I was confused and lost due to writing, or if it was really was that twisty.
I’m not typically a huge fan of 3rd person POV, then add the constantly revolving characters at the center of the narration… I just found myself in an extremely confused state for 98% of the book.
I will say that I couldn’t put it down. I finished it in a day. The narration was SO SLOW, I had to speed it up to 2x.
I’d recommend this to people who enjoy 3rd person POV, like mysteries and twists, and are familiar with Korean translated work.
