Great banter!

Loved this meet cute! And such a dreamboat fireman. Really enjoyed the witty banter conversations between Rose and Leo.

CLASSIC SALLY THORNE

Sally Thorne's turn of a phrase and way with words make me giggle. Her left-of-center characters feel like they each have a little bit of Sally in them. She has a really unique point of view on life. This little novelette exemplifies all of that. With the help of a stranger Rosie keeps her wits about her while trapped in a dark flotation tank for hours. I love that this story is 50% filled with their conversation on opposite sides of the tank and they connect completely site unseen. Great start to a relationship between two people who clearly 'get' each other, and it's what they deserve. The narration is good too.

I don’t typically listen to romance novels (I prefer to read them so I can savor at my own pace). I am so glad that I made an exception for this one! This was a clever spin on the meet-cute and I loved everything about it.

Third installment in this rom-com series and this one is by far my favorite!

So charming and funny.

Loved it so much. It was Short but funny and romantic- the whole package. Perfect audio if in need of pass by time and entertain yourself

Rosie and the Dreamboat is part of the quick listen series The Improbable Meet-Cute Series featuring six books by six authors. This is book 3. It is 1 hour and 14 minutes long. This meet cute is about Rosie and Leo. It takes place on Valentine’s Day. Rosie gets locked inside of a sensory deprivation tank at a spa and Leo is a firefighter who helps get her out. This is a cute story with good narration. This book was included for read and listen with my KU membership. 4 stars.

Wholesome

This was such a wholesome story. Both characters were so sweet to each other. In such a short encounter it was clear that they had chemistry together. And each had insecurities that the other was able to provide comfort for. I shipped them hard.

Charming

This is like a yummy bite of dessert that cleanses the palette and hits the spot. It’s a truly unique idea for a short story, and completely captivating. Very well executed. Loved the characters, plot, dialogue, performance. Listened in one go on an evening when I wanted something light hearted and heartfelt to make me smile. Perfection!
