She is welcoming
I first heard the author on a podcast and could tell she was honest and sincere. That comes through in the book as well. For a listener looking at Santisima from afar, this book does a good job at making her seem more approachable and definitely more motherly

NOT esoteric. Author is new age/fear based. Not rooted in oneness when speaking of the divine mother.
Instead of giving esoteric knowledge on Santisima Muerte and how her divineness can be received, this author spends a good portion of the book talking about her experiences while visiting Mexico, as well as how Santa muerte has hurt people who she feels don’t pay attention to her. She attempts to instill a fear based relationship with the Holy Mother, which is an injustice to those seeking a relationship with the divine mother god. This book is NOT esoteric.
