Jason does a fantastic job narrated this novella.

Loved the story, I’m confused with the epilogue

I have read over 627 books in the last year and I have never felt the need to leave a review but this epilogue just bothered me. It’s bad enough these stories are so short but then you wait all the way to the end to hear how things ended up for the couple you have been rooting for only to have the author write about the 18 year old from the previous book and update us on where she is in her life which honestly if no one read the prior book they would be so confused. I was bummed and it kind of ruined the story for me but I love the author still and will continue to read her books regardless. I just don’t understand not adding an epilogue to update us on the actual couple the story was written about. As always Jason Clarke is amazing and will continue to be one of my favorites!

Again, another great bedtime story from Shayla Black. And an awesome narration by Jason Clarke makes it so much better. Really enjoyed this one!

Really great!

Short and (turns out) sweet! First there is a TW (trafficking), so be aware. Of course we know there is a HEA, so the romance definitely is at the forefront of this storyline. I love Christie and Ridge as a couple. Great writing and narration, and a really good story for as short as it is!

The Garrison Brothers

Loved all their happily ever after stories Jason Clarke was awesome in all the roles

Another standout listen

In this book we meet Ridge and Kristi. A great couple with smoking hot chemistry. We also get a recap on the Garrison brothers and their wives. As always, absolutely phenomenal narration by Jason Clarke.

Great!

Just didn't like the epilouge. Wasn't about the main couple but about a previous one. I think it was also meant to wrap up the connecting stories. Other then that, it was GREAT!

Unsure how I feel!

This book has disturbing parts.
The one really good thing is Jason Clarke! He narrates this book so very well!

A bit much with the pregnancy trope…

Gosh!! I enjoyed the series but the making 34 year old men like 64 or 74 is so weird to me… are these authors in their early 20’s? People don’t slow down at 34 smh realistically maaaybe in the 50’s… and these girls right out of puberty? Getting pregnant? I’m not a fan…and the focus on age is weird…

I jumped around on these series, some were great this one the FMC did act like she was not far out of puberty yet, immature!! And these men falling for kids this young?! What’s wrong with a girl who’s at least 26? There are 25 year olds who haven’t lost their “V card” and beautiful! So this usually doesn’t make sense… ah well… I did not enjoy this much…

🤢 Him being undercover and having to get it on with her in front of criminals made this an unsexy listen.
🤢 Her enjoying it was not remotely plausible.
🤢 Me having to listen to yet another older alpha male telling his barely legal Baby Girl
about his pregnancy kink was my own fault for finishing the eight novellas just because they were free.
