The Four Sisters, evil creations of the Shadow Lord, are poisoning Deltora and starving its people. Lief, Barda, and Jasmine have found and destroyed the first of the Sisters. Now they must find the second, hidden within the mountains that border the Shadowlands itself. And they know that only the Dragon of the Emerald can help them.
The Shadow Lord is now aware of their quest. Deep in the Shadowlands, he plots their destruction. Hidden enemies and trickery await as the companions travel towards the Sister of the North and its terrible guardian, the dread place called Shadowgate.

Interesting read
This is by far my favorite book in the 3 rd series of Deltora Quest. I love the concept of the Masked ones and as always the are thrilling plot twists. But I feel like narrator colud have done a better job narrating the part where lief loses jasmine. There wasn’t much emotion in his voice and so I kind of missed the part the first time.
I will recommend to people at least to older than 10 because there is lots of blood, death and manipulation.
Btw the masked ones are kind of like evil furries
