As an author, don’t use words you’ve never looked up for yourself
The author tried to use “smart” words, like “enervate” and “appraise” without looking them up. They were used incorrectly. Those are just two examples of many.
Meanwhile, the narrator did a decent job of making the characters sound different from each other. However, his frequent mispronunciations (and possible misreading) of so many words, especially his egregious pronunciation of “Lestrade” simply ruined it for me.
If you are interested in a Holmesian take on the Ripper murders, you might like this. You might not.

Fair at best.
The plot line is interesting in a predictable way. While the narration is pleasant Stockton Harris has some odd pronunciations of standard words. There is no attempt at different voices for the characters so it sounds like the reading of a story book.Overall It is fair at best.
