Paula and Martina Sanjuan Sanjuan have fresh, charming voices. Of course, they are native Spanish speakers, and whilst their English is excellent, their accents take a little while to be easily understood. Therefore, the authors strongly recommend that you also buy a copy of the paperback or e-book Silke the Cat, My Story to read along with this audio recording and remove any uncertainties. Then you will be sure to get the maximum enjoyment from their delightful way of speaking. You will quickly pick up on their accents, but initially, the book will help you to "tune in". The girls are assisted by John LeSueur, who takes on the role of narrator in this recording. Buying the book also brings the added benefit that you will be able to see the many photographs of Silke and her environs with which it is lavishly illustrated.
Silke is a real, quite charming, and exceptional cat, as you will see, and all of the adventures in this recording actually happened. She felt that humankind could benefit from hearing about her life, and we are sure you are going to enjoy this recording.
