This series is getting better & better!!

I am breathless, something HUGE is coming! Starting next book in love long series.... Good long series of audiobooks! Excellent narrater!!! I hope it's not like game of thrones though & gets you all wound up on all the exciting characters & plots then goes to crap.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

yes, I would recommend the series starting from book 1. you could definitely start with a later book in the series and figure out what is going on because the author gives a brief recap. However, if you do this there will definitely be something lacking in the story and your feel for where the characters have "come from" and you won't be as invested in their relationships. it is worth it. Kara's character is growing, the mystery is good, there is action, and they are fun.

I have read the previous 3 books on my ereader and really enjoyed them. I'm so glad to see these on audible... But keep adding please! I see there's another book in the series that isn't here, plus another coming in December '13.
I recommend starting at the beginning of this series with mark of the Demon to get the full perspective. The demons aren't your typical demons, but rather being from another place that can be summoned into this world. They are ruled by Demon Lords that may also be summoned.

Start at the beginning... And Audible, please add the next title!

A solid addition to the series

This is the fourth book in the series, but only the second put on audible. I've only listened to Secrets of the Demon in this series, and I liked this book better than Secrets. I really enjoyed this book, especially how demons were used to attempt to solve the crime. I also liked that I was able to predict before hand who was actually at fault for the murders. Overall, if you want to listen to a good mystery or urban fantasy this is a good choice. I would recommend this book to friends.

How could the performance have been better?

Audible does not return me to where I left off. Often I would pause the book, and when I returned 5 - 10 mins later the book would have skipped several chapters.
