Resumen del Editor

Presenting the first ever Audio Film, Some Thing Borrowed, based on the hit Reddit short story, There’s A Woman I Don’t Recognize In My Wedding Photos by Blair Daniels, which has garnered over 7800 upvotes, making it one of the most popular short stories on Reddit.

Combining the striking narration of an audiobook with the multicast acting performances normally found in a dramatization and/or audio performance, Some Thing Borrowed is a uniquely immersive and cinematic audio experience that feels like a theatre of the mind, and which can only be described as: an Audio Film.

Not Everything Borrowed Can Be Returned.

Cassie marries the man of her dreams, but her happily-ever-after-life is flipped upside down when she spots an eerie woman in her wedding photos and encounters a dangerous spirit in her home.

Cassie discovers that her mother-in-law passed her a curse through the haunted barrette she wore to her wedding as her something borrowed.

With her marriage, her life, and her sanity on the brink of ruin, Cassie must uncover the terrifying truth about the haunted barrette and free herself from this nightmarish curse.

Starring: Kelsey Abberger, Jane Beverley, Jeff Dylan Garrett, Rebecca Gastfriend, Shanna Quackenbush, Stella Milinich, Emanuel Nisan.

Interesting and enjoyable

Some Thing Borrowed is a gripping and immersive audio production that will captivate fans of supernatural thrillers and audio dramas alike. Adapted from the wildly popular Reddit short story There’s A Woman I Don’t Recognize In My Wedding Photos by Blair Daniels, this audiobook enriches the genre with its fascinating concept of an Audio Film.

With the skilled narration of Jeff Dylan Garrett and an incredible full cast, the story unfolds nicely, creating just the right atmosphere that pulls listeners into such a thrilling, cinematically auditory journey.

From the first few minutes, the audio effects and rich sound design create an eerie, tension-that enhances the chilling tale of Cassie, a newlywed whose life takes a terrifying turn. The curse of the haunted barrette, passed down by her mother-in-law, is a smart plot idea that keeps the story interesting and adds a layer of suspense and horror that will keep listeners immersed.

The successful combination of audiobook narration with the drama and energy of a full cast performance makes Some Thing Borrowed really stand out.

Like other productions of its kind, Some Thing Borrowed is more than just an audiobook. It feels like a theatre for the mind, where each voice and sound effect transports the listener deeper into the unsettling world the author created. At just two hours in duration, it’s the perfect length for a tightly woven, edge-of-your-seat experience that doesn’t overstay its welcome.

For fans of haunting, psychological thrillers with a supernatural twist, Some Thing Borrowed is a must-listen. It delivers on every level, from its scary plot to its masterful audio production, making it unmissable for fans of the genre.
