Well read with good storyline. Makes you want to follow the lives of the crew.

Plot twists 2.0
Rather riveting story but characters overlook obvious weird aspects and supposed plot twists are telegraphed. Ending was less “Ah-ha” and more “Huh?” This story ended and not seeing a pickup for book 2.

Great job as always. I just love Rachel Aukes stories
Scott Aiello is outstanding performing every character so realistically that one thinks you are actually there. He is one of the best narrators today.
I have read or listened to Rachel stories for years. I’m never disappointed. I really like character /military driven style. These characters are great.

Great story!!
Creative, gripping, and suspenseful…with just the right amount of human nature sprinkled in to make it both enjoyable and believable.
Voice narration was top drawer. I appreciate, respect, and am jealous of his skill. Thank you for a job well done.

Great Story but
It's a great story but a bit of a mismatch with the narrator, I am Not sure exactly what the problem is but the audio is harsh, this could be a setting on the production equalizer, really need to soften the voice and balance the volume of each character. Other than that a great story.

Production quality control a bit lacking
The story is ok. It held my interest long enough to finish the book. The narrator was really good at differentiating voices.
BUT
Whoever mixed the audio, please learn to use the auto level function of your system. All the female voices were so soft I could hardly hear them.
It would be a nice feature for the audible reader app to provide an auto audio level function. FFS it's like you guys have never done this before.
