Jeffrey Mickler presents in this 52-part series, of approximately 10 minutes each, a comprehensive approach to knowing "St. Paul, the Man and His Message." In his insightful and inspiring commentary on the life and times of Paul of Tarsus, Fr. Mickler gives his listeners a truly in-depth and intimate look into this Apostle to the Gentiles. There have been many authors, but none can compare to this all-inclusive presentation that gets to the heart and soul of this earliest and greatest Christian writer of the first century. St. Paul was known for his early influence as a missionary, spreading the Gospel through nascent Christian communities across the Roman Empire. By using the inspired biblical text and time-tested interpretations from the Fathers of the Church, and other scripture scholars, Fr. Mickler details for the listener the life of St. Paul in the Book of the Acts of the Apostles, as well as within Paul’s many letters which make up a major portion of the New Testament. He addresses themes that are found throughout St. Paul’s writings. The life and times of St. Paul the Apostle has always been uppermost in the life of Christians across the centuries. This informative and comprehensive approach by Fr. Mickler gives his listeners food for thought for every week of the year. Other parts of the presentation deal with the subjects of time and date of authorship, the particular book’s theme, and a summary of contents and comments about the context in which each of the books have been written.
