That doesn't matter because Houston would walk through Hell barefoot for those kids. When the woman in his life can't seem to come to grips with his new lifestyle, Houston has no problem setting her free. Once he becomes single, another relationship is the furthest thing from his mind, but as a good friend once told him, sometimes you have to go through the BS to get to the good ish. Houston just might find that to be true when single mother Cypher and her twin sons enter his life.

They couldn’t say shawty to save the life but I loved how they came together. I definitely didn’t see it turning out like that but it’s the best possible outcome 🥹

This book brought tears to my eyes. well written and I loved the narrator. Gives you faith in love!

Real Daddy

Houston is a real man who knew how to be a real daddy. I really loved this book. The author showed life for what it really was all the way around. ❤️❤️❤️ Strong woman, strong man and a strong and loving family despite all else.

Needed morw

Overall this was an ok book. I wish it went in a little more detail instead of fast forward a year then 10 years later. It would have been nice to read about a wedding and both brothers acceptance speeches at the draft. I would have love more info on the counseling with the kids regarding their mother's death.

In all honesty this was too short!! I could've used another 2 hours. Overall this was a good listen. I was expecting their biological father to show up at the NFL draft.👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I LOVE LOVE 💕 💕💕 this story as a step parent myself and have a step parent for my kids this story is SO REAL thank you for addressing what we as parents go through! I’d love to read more combined stories like this! A MUST READ/ LISTEN GR8 job and you are a NTMA but I’ll look for great reads

When I say this one right here. Omg. Baby I cried. I hadn't listened to a book that expanded over so many years. This was worth my monthly credit. Might lesson to it again, in the future. Step-dad was one hell of a man....for all the children.

Absolute Love

I already read the book and I was waiting for the audio and it did not disappoint. Now I’m waiting for Stepdaddy Season 2 to come out on audio.

Loved the storyline and the HEA!

This was a great story about a stepdad who was a real man. Something I have personal experience with. The narrators were great also. I listened without stopping.
