Wow. I honestly felt like I would never understand stocks and how they work. I've always felt like I wasn't saving in the most efficient way, but i was scared to get into something that I didn't understand. This book was a super detailed and interesting lesson on how the stock market works. I also really enjoyed the narrator, and I recommend listening to it rather than reading, and it all feels less intimidating! Honestly 10/10! I'm meeting with someone to talk about investments in a couple weeks!

A dry subject but well read

Where does Stock Market: How to Invest and Trade in the Stock Market Like a Pro rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Better. The voice is better and more engaging despite being a much longer book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

It's not a fiction, there are no characters. I supposed the only "character" is the author. He seems like he knows what he's talking about and is believable. Some parts are a little long winded but there's a lot of information to process here.

Have you listened to any of Joe Wosik’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No. I assume well. He's better than the guy who did another of Johnson's books which I've listened to.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No. It's a dry subject that is meant to be informational. The subject is difficult to understand but the author breaks it down well as long as you have the patience to listen to it all. You'll want to take notes though.

Any additional comments?

It's a pretty long book and there's a lot of information so best read in sessions. I found the fact that the author clearly tells you this takes time refreshing because many stock market books promote a "get rich quick" mentality.

Mr Johnson leads his readers/listeners through the workings of the stock market from beginner to pro like a wizard. He teaches them to "be a wolf not a sheep" and to have a "ravenous need for new strategies" to stay fruitful. He provides strategies, techniques, tips, knowledge, and the awareness of the stock market to help anyone from amateur to the most skilled gain new insights. Mr Wosick's translation was excellent.

Wealth of Knowledge

Investing always seemed like a very confusing thing to me. I just couldn’t seem to grasp the concept. Then I stumbled upon Stock Market: How to Invest and Trade in the Stock Market Like a Pro and suddenly I am starting to understand the process and how it works, which has made it a lot less intimidating to me!

Andrew has taken his time to go from beginner concepts all the way up to more advanced. It is much appreciated and a definite read if you’re looking to either learn about the stock market or expand the knowledge that you already have.

Combination of Johnson's Masterpieces

Let’s face it, investing and trading are scary. This audiobook may be lengthy but it is well worth it to take the time and listen. Johnson gives all kinds of information, tricks, tips, and opinions on all of his various trading guides, which are all great on their own too! Johnson delves a little bit into the history of trading in an effort to help readers/listeners really grasp what trading is and where it came from. Johnson takes the advice from how to start to how to remain in the trading game. His books are always a good read!

excellent investing

If your a beginner at investing, or even if you just want to understand what those talking heads on tv are talking about, this is a great place to get started. Gives a very basic foundation and he shares a lot of his own personal methods and resources; not at all pushy and does a good job of introducing basic terms in a simple manner, blending them into the topic he is discussing.. Its simple common sense knowledge for the common person.

So. Much. Information

I’m not gonna lie. This one was hard to get through. So far this is Johnson’s longest book.
The narrator was kind of meh so I tuned out at parts.
If you get the chance, READ this book. I know that there are chapters to audio books but you can’t skim passages to make sure you aren’t missing something important.
There was a lot of good information but unless you are road tripping, don’t try to finish this in a day. Typically I can listen and sew and with my body doing one thing and my brain doing another, it helps.
I’m used to his other narrator from...I want to say he did both of Johnson’s FOREX books.
He should stick with that guy. This is a lot of information and the narrator is important.
Either save this for a road trip or a weeks worth of work outs. Don’t try to do it all in one day.

best investment book

This book gives a clear and easy to follow method to really know what stages of a market's cycle are in and then gives methods to follow This is a measure of how a stock is acting in relation to the overall market. It is a good complement to have with other trading books. The book is very easy to understand and you can apply ideas to trade in the market immediately. Best investment book I have ever heard.

The book also outlines tops and bottoms and how to avoid falling into those traps. You will learn the skills and daily practices of successful Day traders and how to implement those skills when embarking on this journey.
