Great story
I listened to this after “to wed an obsidian villain” and enjoyed this so much more. It continued to build the world and I found the story be just as good and look forward to the 3rd book in this short trilogy. The biggest difference is the narration was far better - in the first book the female narrator doing the mmc voice in the fmc pov was unfortunate But it seems they rectified that in the narration in this book.
