Who am I? What is happening?

This entire book is what I imagine it feels like to have a stroke, in fact the first story's ending I thought I was...

Interesting set of short stories

Not surprising there's a book of some kind out on the market about COVID-19. This was a set of short stories often surrounding life dealing with pandemics. Some of the stories I enjoyed, while others not so much. It was interesting to listen to.

Horror/Scifi Lovers will Enjoy

This was a good modern horror anthology based on the covid-19 pandemic. The authors of each story did a good job using the fears and experiences many us of had in the beginning of the pandemic during the phase where everything was being locked down, when we couldn't go anywhere, and everything was just unknown. Using these experiences/fears and having a horror twist was creative and a good listen. The stories have a twilight zone type ending and those into horror/scifi anthologies should give this a try. Especially after living through 2020.

I

Enjoyed the difference in the stories. Nice short story length, and some both amusing and maybe even some seriously thoughts. They might not be that far fetched from what we been through and may (hopefully) evolve in a positive way from this period and not the start of something darker. (I think actually the ionic visit has a very positive view on the future. I am not that hopeful myself!

Some of these were funny, some scary…

All were pertinent to our current situation. I don’t know how authors could whip these books out so fast about a topic that is going on right now!
Good though. Not a read that will make you more depressed.

Unsettling but cathartic

This is an excellent collection of speculative short fiction, all on the theme of the novel coronavirus 19 pandemic.

It’s at once cathartic, and deeply unsettling. That latter feeling comes less from the strange and quirky events of these stories, and more from how well they capture the confusion, disbelief, and unreality of those first few weeks of the pandemic here in the US.

I’m certainly glad to have listened to the whole collection.
