Sweet story

This is a sweet story not terribly original but worth the read. The narration bothered me when the voices were faked by the opposite person. Like if he was thinking a narrative, he faked a the girl voice and vice versa. I can’t understand why they did that when there was both a female and male narrator available to speak the part.

Highly enjoyable

This book was so well written I have throughly enjoyed it. The characters really suck you into their story and if your like me your pulling for them.

Last in the series but certainly not least!

I loved Jordy and Harper’s story so much! I love that Harper made him work for it and I love how Jordy never gave up! Teddy and Savannah did an amazing job narrating this book and made it such a pleasure to listen to.

Taking His Shot is the final book in Kendall Ryan’s ‘Hot Jocks’ series is one I was highly anticipating. I was so excited for Jordie’s book and it was a great ending to the series.

Harper is the coaches daughter and has one rule. She doesn’t date players. Jordan Prescott is the rookie for her dad’s team and he’s going to try his best to change that. The two of them meet at a charity auction and Jordie is resilient to get Harper to go out with him. I loved that he’s willing to go to whatever lengths it takes to get her. And then he does the unimaginable… he falls for her.

I loved Jordie so much in the previous book and I couldn’t wait to get his story. I adored him and Harper and overall I liked this book a ton. My only issue was a part of the plot I wasn’t crazy about.

I listened to the audiobook of Taking His Shot and two of my favorite narrators didn’t disappoint. Savannah Peachwood did a great job voicing Harper, and Teddy Hamilton really brought Jordie to life. The audiobook was high quality and I highly recommend listening to this one!

If you’re looking for a steamy sports romance that’s sweet, fun, and fast paced, pick up Taking His Shot.

Oh sweet Jordy,

I loved the way Kendall wrapped up this series. Jordy wanted to be with Harper something serious. The struggles each of them faced stayed realistic and their love story was beautiful. I am actually heartbroken by the fact that this series has to end, but it was a wonderful happily ever after.

Another Great Story by Kendall Ryan

Great story with low angst. Kendall delivered again with a great hockey storyline. Loved the narrators. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Really Enjoyed

Ok, first things first, Teddy's narration is always. awesome. Even if he doesn't know how to pronounce the name Isla or the words chaise lounge. Savanna Peachwood is another story. I don't like her voice. But that's obviously just a personal opinion. I clearly don't hate it so much I won't listen to it. LOL
Now, I enjoyed this book as much as the first few in the series. Which is saying something. My favorite is probably Owen and Becca's story. But this is a strong contender for second place. Jordy is just freaking adorable. He clearly had a lot of growing up to do. But his mind was always open to learn and grow. It was a really nice change. I also really like Harper's character. Strong and feminine without being obnoxious. Which is honestly not something I find in a lot of this kind of book. And just like the rest of us strong, independent, I can do it myself kind of women. We realize there are always areas we find we need to let go of, long held ideals we made our minds up on when we were children/immature when our views of the world were very different that when we're grown.

Loved this Fun and Steamy Romance!

I loved this fun & flirty, heartwarming, steamy romance! Harper is the coaches daughter and her life has been transient as she follows her dad from one city to the next for his job. She only wants to have roots, good friends, and a stable home and family. She does not want to fall back into the hockey lifstyle so she refuses to date a hockey player. Jordie is living his dream playing professional hockey and enjoying the lifestyle that goes with it. But he likes what his friend and team captain, Grant, has with the love of his life, and thinks it's about time to settle down. The first meet cute between Harper and Jordie is hilarious as she puts him in his place. But Jordie is a professional competitor and loves the challenge. As they get to know each other, both their opinions about each other change. Harper sees how kind and thoughtful and charming Jordie is and Harper becomes more than a challenge to Jordie, she is the one! But when secrets come to light it could tear them apart for good. Teddy Hamilton, and Savannah Peachwood did a great job bringing this story to life. They have great chemistry as Hamilton made me swoon over Jordie and Peachwood made Harper so relatable. They really made this heartwarming, sweet and sexy romance even better!
