Join little Molly Mishkin, Francois Frog, and Mr. Blinkystein as they head north to Dark Minion Marsh, hoping to rescue Molly's mother and the once mighty Governor Peryton, who Leona has captured! Meanwhile, Suzy Shortbread, Dafydd Canicus, and Penelope Pringles travel eastward across Morada heading to the Dragon Mountains.
Following the ominous orders from Oracle of Wayward Wetlands as our faithful friends of Mushroom Manor find out that their world is a much more dangerous place than they had ever realized.
Will Suzy Shortbread be able to find Ferante, the ancient one, in time so he can restore the heart of white magic? Will all of Morada fall in Leona's darkness?

Brilliant Book. Delightful.
After I finished the second book, I am totally fascinated and even more pleasantly surprised to see the world that Joplin James created for us. I enjoyed reading Book Two so very much. The writer created so many moments that leave you breathless. I had my heart in my mouth many times while reading it. Love that the author has the ability to translate the human world into a fantastical one. The second book brings new impressions, feelings, comedy, and deep emotions. The story starts to twist in many directions even from the beginning. Joplin has created new adventures, new places, new character descriptions, new tragedies, along with regrets, heartache, secrets, resurrections, and reunions. The second book gives you new perspectives on how characters think, how distrustful some are, and how humans are involved in this magic world. It is a book that literally you can’t put down. I definitely highly recommend this to children and especially to adults. 10 Stars Book. The narrator from the audiobook manages to create absolutely fantastic voices for the new characters as well. I enjoyed so much reading it while the narrator narrates it from the audiobook. Can't wait for the 3rd Book to come.

Wow! That was an exciting journey!
There was so much going on in The Search for Ferante. It was great to see the old characters, and meet many new ones as well. I loved moving back and forth with the different groups as they traveled on their quests. The characters experience so many things and deal with emotions, which I as a reader felt also. Full of many twists, and surprises, some good, but others not so good!
I recommend this book to everyone! It is a wonderful fantasy adventure!,
