If Taylor Blake’s life were a TV show, the cast of characters would be very, very small. In her life there’s literally only:
1. Her mum, who thinks she’s 'cool' and 'with it' and has a TikTok account that she updates four (!!!!) times a day. Cringe.
2. Her grandma and grandad, who Mum is always shouting at for saying things that are a bad influence on Taylor, when they’re actually funnier than Mum is.
3. Star and Lucy, Taylor’s best friends who are also a couple and always together, so even though they are individuals who happen to be partnered, they really only count as one person because they’re joined at the hip.
However, all that is about to change! Because now Taylor is in Year Nine and she gets to be a host for the French Exchange program. There’s going to be cool parties and sophisticated conversation and … well, Taylor’s first kiss! It’s called French kissing because they invented it, didn’t they? She might even meet the love of her life! So even though things have been dull and rubbish for practically Taylor’s whole life, in seven days everything will be very different.
