Torie Bliss had accepted the gifts that were bestowed on witches of her lineage. Gifts that manifested themselves after her 40th birthday. Gifts that had come in handy when trying to solve the case of a supernatural serial killer.
Now, all she wanted was to relax, enjoy the company of her quirky new friends, practice her magic, and settle down in the scenic, mountain-side town of Singing Falls. And maybe get to know a certain werewolf that seems to have developed a thing for her.
At least that was the plan, until a knock at her door forces her to deal with someone from her past. Someone that is opening Torie's world up to a whole new level of danger and darkness. Darkness that threatens to devour her new world.

SO GOOD
I LIKE THIS SERIES, AND THIS BOOK TOOK THE INTRIGUE UP A LEVEL. I ALMOST GAVE IT A 4 STAR ONLY BECAUSE IT LEFT US WITH 2 - COUNT THEM - 2 CLIFF HANGER SITUATIONS. THAT IS NOT WHAT I LOOK FOR IN COZIES; BUT I REALLY ENJOYED THE BOOK. SO, I AM GOING TO HAVE FAITH THE NEXT BOOK WILL ARRIVE SOONER THAN LATER AND RESOLVE THE ISSUES. YOU DO NEED TO READ THESE IN ORDER TO GET THE FULL PICTURE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Another Thumbs Up!!!
More twists and surprises in book 2 of this series. This is a good sci-fi paranormal easy listening that you won’t want to put down. And once again our narrator does a great job. I’m awaiting now for book 3.

Wonderful, fun read.
I am enjoying MJ Caan's books. This is the second I have read. I kove tge well developed characters, the story, the paceand the narration.
looking forward to hearing the next book in this series.
