Fun read!

I enjoyed this book and found the plot twists funny. Sometimes it surprises and sometimes you are in on the joke!

second time around

Second time as good as the first. Onto the next book in the series, read back in 2016.

I think this was my 2nd favorite of all (9) books

I liked this one alot. Great new characters. contained the usual mischief and romance and then some. The narrator was brilliant again.

Chemistry in Engineering

In this 4th volume, there is immediate chemistry between the Scottish Engineer Pippa and the American Engineer Max. It’s taken Pippa some time to realize that she loves Gandigow and that she needs to stay there in order to take care of her father and their factory. Pippa needs a few nudges to open up her heart, and Max needs help to heal from his past pain.
Although this book has the formulaic patterns of misunderstandings and miscommunications, it moves along the story arc with more fluidity than the 1st 2 books. It is also pleasantly evident that we do hear from previous book main characters so we know how they are doing.
I look forward to book 5.

Interesting take-off on find raising

Another episode about a small Scottish village and how they brings in tourists and how a matchmaker brings people together to find love.

Can't we just talk?

It's rediculous how many people in this story refuse to talk to each other! Sheesh already.

Accidentally Wonderful

I expected to enjoy this as a lightweight bit of fluff. And it is - perfectly enjoyable with twists and turns and flawed, quirky, adorable characters.

Please write more Kilts and Quilts episodes? I really think Bonnie needs a story. I don't know how that spectacular brain of yours concocted this story but it's wonderful! And it makes me happy! After the last couple of years.. everyone needs happy in their life, especially old ladies like me lol! I believe in community and a village. I actually have one myself, here in Northwest Arkansas. I'm actually a Sinclair, so Scottish books are special to me.

FYI... I read the entire series when it was through Audible Escapes for free. But I love them so much that I had to buy the series and now they're in my library.

Please carry on Miss Patience... be inspired to write more sweet lady, for those of us that look forward to it. Love and hugs!

Kilts and quilts wilt

I love a good romance story especially those that lay in other countries. I love them because you get a flair for the other countries way of life, their attitudes their personalities, the beauty of their country, the way it smells and feels, but I do not like stories with sensuality written into them to me it is distracting and takes away from the plot of the story. Also it just doesn't feel real to me, it feels like sexual fantasy story that is being played out and to me that is not real life. I know that sensual fiction is a genre of reading style and writing style, but I wish I can find those sorts of romance stories that don't include sensuality. The way patients Griffin writes and intertwines the sexuality into her storyline it feels forced ,it feels faked, it feels unnatural. I love how she (patients) includes quilting and the quilting community into her writing it feels at home it feels like a happy society and something beautiful comes out of it. I know many of you read these books for the sensuality part and so I can recommend this book to you, but as for me if you would take the sensuality out I would enjoy the book a lot more and perhaps would go on to read other novels in the kilts and quilts series. .
