It is a great idea to self publish books on Amazon. I always thought you'd have to publish with a traditional publishers before, and i never knew that anyone can so much easily publish books on Amazon now. This book serves as a good guide for anyone interested in publishing on Amazon, or basically have something to share with the world that can put into a book. Not to say that there are lots people buying books on amazon, and you might make some extra money. if you like writing novels, maybe you can do a sequal and that is probably gonna make lots more money.

A Tad Dated, But Still Useful Information

This is a short and easy listen about guys to succeed in self-publishing on Amazon KDP. The main focus is good to leverage Amazon's algorithms, ai technology, and new tools to increase your books visibility and ultimately sales. the authors experience shows as he gives straightforward and practical advice that's easy to follow, but is more a general guide than a step-by-step instructional. The narration was okay, but a little slow. I had to speed up the playback to enjoy the performance. Aside from that, it's a quick listen, especially if you want a brief overview of how to succeed in self-publishing. Some of the information, though is a tad outdated, as it referenced 2023 and since things have changed since then, but that doesn't take away from how useful the information is.

The Amazon Self-Publishing Guidebook is one of the best resources I’ve come across in a long time. I will definitely be recommending it to all my author friends. The author, Richard Abbott, shares pertinent information without being redundant or adding fluff. I’m a veteran self-publisher, and I found lots of information I will be returning to, especially in the area of marketing. This is a guidebook and would make a great companion to his first book, How to Successfully Self-Publish a Book On Amazon & Audible. In fact, I’m heading over to Amazon right now to get a Kindle version of his first book!

Full of rational, good tips

You can tell that the author is a down-to-earth rational thinker.
There is no hype in this book, just practical, time-tested advice.
I get the impression that there is a video of this presentation as well, either that or the printed book has some images worth looking at.

Every First Time Self-Publisher Needs this Book!

I wish I had listened to this audiobook before I launched my book, but it looks like I still did some things right. After listening to this informative guide, I identified my weakness in my amazon ads. I was bidding on common keywords only and I think that lead to me losing some money on ads. I'm excited to start researching rare keywords and implementing some of the other tips I've learned! I definitely know what I am doing for my marketing plan now though! If I ever write another book, I'll definitely get the first 30 days launch off to better start.
