A must for history lovers.

I was looking for historical fiction and chose this audiobook based on a review. I have not inspected the facts or researched this era, but the author shares his knowledge of the historical record in an interesting description that sheds light on Charles the Great's persona and not just his accomplishments.

Good Work by the Author.

Never seen work like t his as it given the reputation of the author, it's probably good. Especially since it appears to show a lot of American History.

This is an excellent overview of so many countries

This audible is serious dive into the individuals and possibilities of who lived in the American continents. I honestly enjoyed listening about them. I found familiar onames, places, and events as well as information I didn't know.

Historical Touchstone

Written engagingly, this audiobook is perfect for the listener who wants a good first look at Charles the Great. The author squanders no time in taking the listeners through the events that shaped the reign of the giant of the eighth century.

An excellent overview of so many countries

This would be an excellent audiobook for a course at the school or college level. Thank you Captivating History (the author team) for delivering such an excellent & thorough audible.

Charlemagne by Captivating History

As a lover of historical fiction, I absolutely enjoyed listening to this version of Charlemagne and his achievements. The writing style and the narrator was very compelling making it difficult to put aside for other activities.

Dive into the deep history.

It's a lot of material to cover in a short amount of time, but it helps pique the interest if you wanted to dive deeper.

A different perspective

It was great. This author's lessons in Central and South America were all so wonderful. Highly recommended!

The was a very good synopsis of American history. Fast pasted, easy to stay engaged.

This audiobook, though brief, was precisely what I look for in an audible. Exceptionally informative and without unnecessary details and assumptions that plague other biographies, this audible mainly sticks to historical writings and provides a fantastic opinion of the person of Charlemagne.
