Sarah lived a quiet life and kept to herself in the small dawdi house which had once belonged to her family. The farmhouse, which held dark memories for Sarah, had been sold off years ago, to the Millers.

Jonas Miller is raising two young daughters, and grieving the loss of his wife. When his mother begins to introduce the children to their neighbor, Sarah, he is determined to keep the strange woman away.
