The facilities and nearly every member of the team are wiped out, silenced forever...almost.
White River, Arkansas, 2019. The small town awakens one morning to find itself ground zero of a joint UN-US terrorist training exercise. Residents face martial law, a cashless economy, and a host of ruthless leaders seemingly bent on making the maneuvers more than just a military operation. Outraged citizens begin to rise up and fight back, but it soon becomes clear that something evil has arrived in White River - a darkness unleashed on an unsuspecting world.

An Incredible Disappointment
The description and cover art give the impression that you are buying an adventure/horror story. What you actually get is a shallow relentless political sermon that is bluntly written and artlessly presented.

Do Not Purchase This Book
What disappointed you about The Arrival?
I have been an audible customer since 2003. Never in all those years have I hear a performance as god awful as the performance that I was just put through. I like premise of the book but the narrator RUINED the book.
What didn’t you like about Elliot Schiff’s performance?
I have heard better readings from my eighth grade english literature class.
