The Artifact

This story was really good.It was slow and drawn out,but really interesting. I had trouble with the narration.It would start out strong then get too low to hear.Keep it on an even keel please. Sean Cordry has a nice voice to narrate with.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

a great unique story with twist and turns that makes one think about the world around them.

Great story..

A fabulous story about an artifact that was handled by many through the centruy, starting with the Naive Americans. I could not stop listening to it asit held my attention and the ending? Great! You must listen.read this novel and find out the ending yourself, you will not be disappointment! The author and narrator did a great job in the writing and telling of the story.

OMG!! Excellent Story

I could not stop listening to this book, it was so good. It is difficult to write a review because I do not want to Spoil this for anyone else.
Narrator does a very good job with the characters and the Entire Storyline!!!
Highly Recommend!!

Interesting read

I really liked the plot. Interesting take combining an alien artifact, history, a doomsday event and life experiences. I enjoyed it.

A Great Listen

The premise for this book is awesome. The execution was perfect. The narrator was super easy to listen to. I listened to the whole book in one go. Totally worth it.

An Amazing Journey of an Amazing Rock!

I've listened to and read a number of McFarland's novels. This author is to writing what a master chef is to cooking. The stories are always unexpectedly compelling and emotionally intense. I listened with unbroken interest from beginning to end, and the story really seemed to have a real explanation for the hype around the 2012 end-of-the-world scenario that didn't happen, and why! I was completely amazed. This is an amazing story on so many different levels, making one wonder at the state of current human societal relationships. Sean "DrC" Cordry did a masterful job in performing this astonishing tale. Kudos to both the author and the narrator. An immersive read and highly recommended for everyone.

great story line that uses real historical events

overall a great story line that uses real historical events to creat the flow of time which is a nice twist.

only thing that should be revised is that itbwas just released, but the timline is already come and gone in the real world which leaves me thinking this took way longer to produce that it should have, or it needs revised to make it somewhat into the future real time.

that aside, overall a really good book

The unexpected is the norm in this story

What an interesting story. The main character, the driving force of this story is a rock? But no ordinary rock for sure. Travel through time with a determined rock, and the people who share its journey. Sean Cordry performs this story in an engaging way that kept me tuned in and wanting more.
