I think the most important part that hit me was about the emergency situations with things going the way they are nowadays it's a great idea to have something that's not dependent on everything else.

I am so glad I came across this audiobook and am grateful for its wonderful advice. I was grabbed by the importance of Baofeng radios from the very first story in the audiobook about a hiker in trouble in the mountains of Vermont. I was prompted to get a Baofeng for my kids to use while skiing in Vermont. You have to remember that even with all of our great technology, there are many places in the world and many situations where cell phones will not work, and you need a reliable way to communicate: the Baofeng. The author has done an incredible job of researching the Baofeng radio, and we get all of his expertise from listening to this audiobook. He explains to you the differences between the modules ( so important ) and how best to use them. I cannot emphasize strongly enough what a great job the author has done researching these radios and explaining how to use them; he makes it easy! Learning how to use these life-saving devices is something everyone should know how to do. Let's face it, the world can get be a little unsettling at times, getting a Baofeng and this audiobook will give you peace of mind and you will be well prepped for any uncertainties! Oh, AND it comes with a free PDF in case you like to follow along or just have the printed version on hand.
