Preordered the Audible book version way back when. Got it and listened to it now stop.

Deborah Harkness, thank you so much for continuing to unearth and share the story of Diana Bishop and her families/ friends. As I listen to the wonderful, captivating, enchanting story of mystery and intrigue, I reflect upon the strength, wisdom, perseverance, and courage of all the characters in this series navigating shadow, light and darkness within and without oneself. This story line thread is beautifully developed and penned to encourage all to do the same. This book continues to expand the Bishop - De Claremont journey as they move forward in time and life. It was most satisfying to learn more of their twin children, their story and how it will carry forth the prophecies of the Discovery of Witches. As always there are twists and turns, expected and unexpected, as the author leaves one in anticipation, excitement and imagining what happens next.
I hope and pray there is a next book in the series.

I highly recommend to one and all to read, not only this book, but all of Deborah Harkness's book. They will open your heart, expand and educate your mind and tantalize your imagination.

Ravens

I am glad to be back in this series.
However, it's like there was no character growth from Diana or even her magic since The Book of Life. As long as her and Matthew have been together, I do not understand how she still cannot talk to him or think he would not accept her.
A lot of new characters are introduced in this book.
The book ends with the possibility of another book that I will be looking forward to.

A chapter for Diana Bishop

This book opened up many questions about the future of Diana and her children. The Proctors were fascinating, and there was so much more magic to learn. There are sure to be more books coming our way, but we can only hope we don’t have to live on the edge of the cliff for too long before another story takes flight.

Very good plotting to move this story forward. I’m really sorry I’ve already finished, and will revisit.

Once again, Deborah Harkness delivers! I've missed these characters and all thrilled to see the development of the twins and to see the introduction of the Proctor Witches. So happy to see that this will further continue into more books as Diana's journey into her magick ✨ continues. How exciting!
