Lovely story, not so lovely voice
I have always loved he story of The Blithedale Romance, but the narrator's voice, in this recording, was extremely irritating. Her intonations were off and her voice, in general, did not suit reading aloud. I cringed. However, I made it through the entire recording because I love the story so much.

underestimated novel
A fascinating novel about the human foibles that can lead to a grandiose project and then lead it astray. Excellent narrator, too.
