❤️ Story!!!
Wonderful and light hearted Victorian romance!!! Always have loved this book!!! The reader was really good with all the characters in this book. Not an easy feat with L.M. Montgomery books as there are sooo many. I'd love to hear the reader read the author's book "Tangled Web".

I thoroughly enjoyed it!
In depth details up front are worth the set up. Some things you see coming but are still delightful to hear. You find yourself cheering for her and sharing in her delight of the beauty in simple things. The narrator did a wonderful performance. I would look for more books read specifically by her.

So unrealistic
This is a nice story if you like happy endings and everything to turn out very neatly and perfect. It’s really quite unbelievable and that’s not my kind of book. However, I’ve always liked LM Montgomery and it’s well done and a very good narrator.

Give it a chance; it is worth your time
I truly disliked the beginning of this book, and stuck it out because of the author. I am very glad I did.

Starts slow… keep going! I loved it. Totally different than Anne of Green Gables and yet you still get a wonderful sense of Montgomery’s imagination for bringing nature to life.

charming
Updated Cinderella story. At first I was put off by the simplistic narrative. it seemed to get more and more delightful as the story progressed. Not a handsome prince, More of a frog, but that's ok too!

warm sweet story
I love this story.
I read the story years ago.
I have yard work to do and I chose this book to listen to while I weeded.
It helped pass the time and just brought a beautiful feeling. I love how Valency makes a choice to live life. She is someone I would love to have met.

really great version
this is a superb story. a beautiful romance. fully recommend the book. the narrator is very good. but not quite strong enough in male voices. still worthwhile listen.

I love this book.
I read this book through Kendall last year, and I loved it. I just finished this edition and this narrator was excellent. I absolutely love this book. it is so worth reading.
