Good story
I enjoyed the storyline and the twists but the writing sounded like it was intended for a young audience.
The main character was cringy and immature , could not relate to her as a woman.
Despite this I did finish it and enjoyed the story overall

Story with a twist
wasn't expecting much from this book, but I definitely didn't predict the final part. Started off slow but then left me wanting more midway through. definitely recommend!

Black comedy?
I've really enjoyed some of this author's work, but this one not so much. The storyline here started out well but lost me before the conclusion. Events became so outlandish that what started as suspenseful became increasingly absurd. And I don't think that black comedy was the author's intent.

Great storyline! Terrible male narrator!
First, the male narrator is HORRIBLE! The story line however is excellent! I wish I had read this old school because its the hardest I have ever worked to stay engaged with an audiobook. Freida never disappoints but whoever chose the male narrator for the book should be fired. He’s awful.

Nice twist at the end, not as good as her previous books, seemed to be riding on the coattails of the success of housemaid series and was too quickly released. Still a fan of McFadden!

AMAZING!!!🤩
This book just keeps you attached to it. You will not stop reading/listening. Wonderful and totally unpredictable. Twists, turns and more. Great mystery. Narrative is very good too.

Loved it!
Freida, you did it again!!! I thought I knew where this story was heading, but I was wrong in the best way possible. From start to finish, I couldn't stop listening. I found myself guessing a million different outcomes—only to be completely surprised by the twist at the end. Another gripping masterpiece! Highly recommend if you love thrillers that keep you on your toes.
