Wow

I loved this book so different from what I normally ready. A teen romance. Phoenix the protector,Griffin the lover and Jackson the rebel. Come together perfectly to protect The Shy and timid Lex. Who in the end becomes her own.

I would definitely recommend this book for readers that believe in young love and first loves.

Incredible Journey

I had been handed the author intriguing romantic drama with a flair of rebellion.

Wonderful books, but not the audio version

I sooo wanted to like the audiobook version of this series, as the books themselves were wonderful. Diverse and well developed characters that you become easily invested in. The series was a perfect slow developing RH story. It was sad and fun and sweet and exciting...it just had all the feels. I’d recommend the books over and over. But the audiobook not so much. I felt like I was listening to Seri or Alexa reading the books. Not intonation or emotion from the narrator...just monotone. It could probably be much better with another narrator or even both male and female narrators. But this just didn’t work. A ch a shame.

Not a bad story or performance, but the audio seemed like it was poorer quality than expected. The narrators style at times seemed over-acted. Overall it made it difficult to immerse myself in the story, but I still enjoyed it. The story itself was alright. It often felt like it was written by a teenager and a bit juvenile. If the author wrote it while college aged or over I'd be surprised. My biggest issue was the ages of the main characters. 15 and 16 are too young for me, as an adult, to be ok with getting the details about their sex lives. I'm very glad it didn't get very explicit, but still underage and seems too close to a line that makes me very uncomfortable.

It’s cute

It’s different but it’s also about teenagers so I’m not that interested. Maybe it’s the smut for me. This was very PG in my opinion. Plus the story seemed a little dragged out.

The narrator needs English lessons.

I was fine with the story but it is inappropriate for youths. The narrator drove me crazy. If you are going to narrate books you should probably know how to pronounce the words in the book.

Entertaining but not appropriate for target audience

The Caged Series is an entertaining set of books, but it is flawed. The biggest issue is that this is a teen romance that is inappropriate for teen readers because of graphic sex scenes with multiple partners and graphic violence. Some readers and listeners will love these books, but even though the books are aimed at a YA audience, I'd recommend mature audiences only.

The other issue I had with the series was the main character, who is suppose to be the smartest kid in school, speaks with bad grammar.

Regardless of the flaws, the books were interesting enough that I finished the series.

The narrator has a pleasant and clear voice, but she does not do male voices, and she is not very good at differentiating the characters.

Good story with poor narration

I like when my family reads a book aloud and that is what this narrator reminds me of, but news flash — this book isn’t being read to me by family. It’s a paid experience, which means I have a base level expectation that exceeds what my little sister can do.

I’m a little confused as to why Jaxson didn’t get much time with Lexus, but whatever. I’m just glad that monotone New York accented narrator finally finished.

Need a new Narrator

I really wanted to like this series I just couldn't get past the narrator.

characters to young for me

I was not able to finish. characters just to young for me. Story would be good if they were not 15 and 16 year olds.
