Returning to the nineteenth century, the listener follows the creation of the painting and learns more about Turner’s beliefs, technique, manner, and indecorous affairs. Filled with beauty and love (of all kinds), this novel explores the ever-evolving role of art in our lives.

very good portrayal of a compelling story

Obsession, motivation to create and process great art. Well stated, compelling and entertaining with excellent description and character revelation

just ok

At first I liked the multi-narrator approach, but it became tedious. The story dragged on for too long and I mostly just wanted it to end.
