Incredible

Book #7 in the Chicago Bratva and I just can't get enough. So much drama, action and danger in every book that kept my attention the entire ride.

compelling

Can revenge turn into a love story? Forced proximity, Stockholm syndrome, and an hea. I think Kat and Adrian were equally affected with Stockholm syndrome effects, but love surpassed it all. I liked how welcoming Adrian's
"family " was to Kat. This was a very exciting and suspenseful journey, and just deserts for
Kat's dad. I liked the memorable tattoo, very enchanting. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrators did an excellent job bringing the characters and story to life. I highly recommend this book.

One onf my favorite series

This series by Renee Rose is one of my favorite series. The narrators, Benjamin Sands and Kingsley Rose did a fantastic job of bringing this story to life!

Family

I loved this book! This series is so good! I loved the narration it was so well done!

Revenge

Plans are made, all looks good, but the best plans can go astray. The players will need to make many decisions about their own future and to learn to trust their relationship.

Kit Kat

This series is one of my favorite but this story had me on edge from beginning to end! I laughed hard with these two and cheered them on for their happy ending, or beginning. I look forward to the next book!

Love Courage and Surviving

Smooth writing great pace . I love the Bratva series rough men strong women . The storyline does touch on human trafficking keeping this at the forefront of our minds in the real world.
Satisfying ending. 2 hearts meet and heal.

Incendiary chemistry and a fine layer of sweetness

This is another terrific entry for this addictive series. I loved Adrian and Kat and their engaging romance. The chemistry is incendiary and has an underlying fine layer of sweetness. Their relationship may get off to a very complicated start, but it doesn't take long before these totally meant to be vibes make themselves known. Lots of emotion and heart are blended with drama, action, tension, danger and steam to create a tantalizing mixture that is too seductive to resist. This book offers dual narration which I prefer and I thought the narrators gave excellent performances that made getting wrapped in this book so incredibly easy.

Revenge at its Sweetest!

Adrian is plotting revenge for his sister Nadia’s capture and torment. His sister Nadia can barely leave their apartment from her lingering fear. The perpetrator Poval is hard to find, but has a daughter.

Kateryna is not what Adrian expected. She is rebellious, wild and flirty. While following her to learn her habits, he ends up saving her from a forced drugging, and ruining his timeline, as now she is in his custody early.

Like all the “bad” men at the Kremlin, he has standards; hurting women is not allowed. A steamy, ironic, sometimes humorous and always dangerous set of events occur which make for captivating reading. I have enjoyed every story in this series - it is superb!

*Note - I read this story in 2022. I listened in 2024. I enjoyed it greatly both times. For the audio the Russian endearments and excellent accents were especially riveting.

Kat Was Irritating

It is so interesting how an audiobook slightly altered my opinion.

I still felt like Kat was acting from a place of pain. The difference was that Kat was so irritating that I did not like her character.

Adrian's uncertainty came across much stronger to me. Interestingly enough, his "Alpha" personality also came across much stronger to me in the audio version than it did in the ebook.

My rating would increase to 3.5 because I had a stronger feeling about the book after listening to it.

I am not sure how I feel about this book. I felt badly for Kat because it was clear she was acting from a place of pain. I felt badly for Adrian because although he had somewhat of a plan he set in motion, I never got the sense that he was solidly behind his plan. As he got to know Kat, he became even more unsure.

I understood why Adrian felt that way, but I guess I was used to the brothers being more sure of the actions they took. Although Adrian played the kinky games with Kat, I still never got that feeling of him having an "Alpha" personality.

I was glad that Adrian and Kat got their HEA. Normally the books in this series pull me in at the beginning and I can read them in one sitting. It was a decent read and my suggestion would be that you read it and judge for yourself.
