amazing world building

Queen Ro really has some adventure in this installment and it is my favorite yet! Her and her family, friends and subjects have a to deal with and i am along for thr ride!

This was so amazing to get to listen to! Queen Sparrow is one of my favorite characters and this world that Kristen Painter built is such an interesting and unique place! I am always thrilled when a new book comes out!! This one was full of danger, conflict, adventures and new friends. I was so caught up in it that I was not ready for it to end! I will be waiting anxiously for the next book! I highly recommend this and all the other Kristen Painter books! I have loved every one!!

Lots on intrigue.

I found the story to be well written. it keeps you on the edge of your seat. The characters are stone for the most part. I can't wait till the next one.

It’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed a series as much as this one. The story lines are interesting, the characters are well developed, and the narration is top-notch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Good vs Evil cliffhanger

I always enjoy Ms. Painter’s stories, I just wish she didn’t write so many different series because it takes so long to get the next one. I don’t care for cliffhangers, so not sure I’ll continue this series.
Of course, B. J. Harrison is superb!
