This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Christopher Glyn did a spectacular job of capturing the tone and vibe of the Bible in particular the King James Bible of course. I will reread it over and over again. I will recommend it.

Happy I was able to listen instead of read.
I thought the narrator was well-spoken and I enjoyed the pace. Although I did not understand many parts of the Bible as most people do not, I did enjoy it. One thing that could have been left out was the music that they inserted during the times speaking of Jesus. The music was a little distracting. I prefer to listen to the words only.

Good Narration of the Primer Book
This is read a bit slowly. It is helpful for reading along, which should be done. Let's face it, the Bible has many place and personal nouns which don't flow from our mouths easily. Still, there is a comfortable familiarity, and I might not pronounce it so, but it remains natural, and understandable. I appreciate that.
The subject matter is involved, technical, and extremely precise. However, if you have graduated the fifth grade, there is no barrier. After all, the Authorised Version was appointed to be read in churches. It was also the textbook used to teach reading and writing in schools here in America. Our children were taught to read so that they could read the Bible.
All that said, I also like that the books and chapters are laid out so navigating is easy.
