One night, six strangers meet each other at an inn and tavern in a fantasy realm. They are:
Sylis, a young, innocent farm wizard with a heart of gold,
Nathan, a powerful, sly necromancer with a sarcastic sense of humor,
Glorissa, a friendly, popular girl training to become a priest-knight,
Kylus, an honest, humble young man who dreams of becoming a soldier in the military,
Rose, a chaotic, clever wizard-rogue who is on the run from her past,
and Yarid, a fae noble warrior whose mission is to protect the elves from the goblins.
But someone else meets them there that night: an evil wizard. And this evil wizard offers these six heroes a job: to steal the magical Crystal of Light. The evil wizard promises to these six heroes, who happen to be flat broke and in debt and on the run from people trying to kill them, that he will compensate them with an insane amount of money. They would have to be literally insane to take the job, but money has a way of making good people make questionable decisions. These six heroes see themselves as a bunch of insecure horny losers, but the evil wizard sees something in them that they do not see in themselves: courage, strength, greatness, and the power to accomplish incredible things and to commit terrible crimes. His job offer sets in motion a chain of events leading these six heroes onto a fantasy quest adventure that will test the very definition of who they are, what they believe in, what they can do, and what they mean to themselves and to each other. Because, if one thing is for sure, it's this: the heist to steal the Crystal of Light will change their lives.
