Resumen del Editor

When nineteen-year-old Noah Farmer discovers he has dormant magical abilities, his world turns upside down. His erratic magic wreaks havoc, especially when he’s annoyed. Forced to flee his ordinary small town, Noah journeys to the mystical realm of the Otherlands, seeking out the legendary sorcerer Dragon of Castle Dragon. Will the elusive mage come out of retirement and agree to help Noah master his volatile wizard powers before they destroy him?

Along with loyal friends, a feisty fairy guide, and a mysterious mentor, Noah must unravel cryptic prophecies and outwit mystical threats like illusions, haunted forests, giants, and notorious magicians on his quest to recover the stolen Dragon Moonstone an arcane relic with the power to restore harmony between worlds.

Success means embracing his full potential to become the heroic sorcerer he was destined to be. But malevolent forces have other sinister plans. An evil witch covets his powers for her own gain. Devious bounty hunters and Fae tricksters will stop at nothing to capture the naïve mage.

Mastering the customs of the unpredictable Otherlands proves far more difficult than Noah ever imagined. Noah’s trial by fire intensifies as his responsibilities increase, the mysteries deepen, and the threats surrounding him multiply.
When allies prove false and good intentions lead to tragedy, Noah must look inward to find the courage to tame his wild magic.

Will the reluctant hero rise to the challenge and master the skills to save the two realms? Or will darkness extinguish Noah’s light before his epic journey ever truly begins? The fate of both worlds rests on solving the mystery of the Dragon Moonstone and Noah’s ability to unlock the power within.

The Dragon Moonstone—A thrilling coming-of-age fantasy adventure with high stakes and an imaginative cast of characters chock-full of magic, mystery, and fun for the entire family.

not too bad for a ya book

The story was not bad. It is a simple story full of misadventures where the MC is constantly making the wrong choices. He don't even get the girl in the end. It was very action pack once you got past the first few chapters. Unfortunately, I did not realize it was book two of a series so I missed some of the background though it can be acceptable as a stand-alone story. I will be going back and listen to the first book.

As far as the narrator, it was a virtual voice and surprising good though it seemed to get a bit lazy near the end. If audible did not mention it being a virtual voice, I would have thought it was a real person reading it. The only real con was all the characters had the same voice. You would think they could program different voices for the different characters.

If you don't mind listening to a virtual voice and If you are looking for a simple YA book, this would be a good one. It don't have the bad language nor any type of romance. I highly recommend it to preteens and teens but even older folks like me can enjoy it.
