Resumen del Editor
Before the Roman Emperor turned his focus to the east, the Arabic lands were a place of life, death, magic, and constant struggle to make ends meet. Or, meet your end. There were those who could help, either way.
Sorcerers understood life, dismissed death as an inconvenience in those they lost, but they developed, over time, an uncanny skill to survive.
And, already, there was a Church Order, not of Christianity, Muslim or anything recognizable who were determined to destroy the ‘evil’ Sorcerers. Of course, it helped that the Sorcerers were men, the Church Order all women hoping, or sometimes pretending to keep their virtue.
This is a tale of how one man survived the Gauntlet of life by his wits, his magic, and the help of a couple of those Sisters of the Church. Some things are just not predictable, right?
