An enjoyable story

The narrator does an excellent job of bringing this story to life. The main characters were well thought out and very likeable. This was an enjoyable book and I'm looking forward to reading/listening to more books by this author.

Nice story and performance

This story was well written. It had enough regency historical context and interest outside of just a love story which made it a good listen. Narrator did a good job on all the lady voices and I liked the pacing.

Strong women & turbulent times.

The story was a somber one. Dealing with death and family trouble but ended beautifully. It is a sweet romance amongst the turbulent ups and downs of a dying side character. Bittersweet tale with a happy ending.
