Where is the rest of the book
I really like the story. Not sure how the leveling system works. But the main thing is … why was the book so short … where is the rest of it?

Another "fake" hero story..
MC has everything handed to him on a silver platter.. don't really had to earn anything. overall it is just not for me. Story turns that doesn't make logical sense.

Get a new narrator.
I'm sorry but Stephen Bel Davies was not a good choice for this series. His soft voice and placid oration creates a disconnect between the story and narration. Narration should be a performance in which the narrator is able to enhance the story not detract from it. I've listened to him before in other lighthearted series for which he did a good job. He's a good narrator, just not for this story.
The story is a little janky and maybe a bit puerile. Overall the whole bait and switch with the deal was dumb. Not sure what the reasoning behind that. Next garbage garbage garbage end. You need some beta readers.
