As soon as I could, I left behind the leering glances to sell my labor to the mining company. In return, I received an apartment barely large enough for a bed and a sink, fourteen-hour shifts in the darkness, and an early death when my lungs inevitably gave out. It was hardly a fair shake, but nothing on Erebos was fair.

Vee-rah’s movements drew me out of my staring. She wiggled until I set her feet on the cavern floor and inched back. Our eyes met, her dark eyes reflecting my face in the low light, and I licked my muzzle. She bit her plump lower lip and reached for her coverings.

potential for so much more

ok so it's a short erotic stories but the potential is there for so much more I for one would love a series to spring from this with the rebuilding of the world so here is to hope !

The Title

This was a very good short story. The characters were entertaining funny at times it was romantic while also being erotic what I didn’t like, was the robotic voice and also the cliffhanger, overall love the story.

Too Short

This feels like only the beginning of a book, it’s very short. The pace is pushed to the limit and could’ve been written to be more believable. Insta love type situation with no real story explored, just the hint of one. Wouldn’t spend money on it. Not for young audiences.

Not bad

The story was actually decent! The virtual voice sucks though, I don’t think any one should use it and usually counts against the story in my opinion

Wish there was more

This was a good read. I just wish it was longer. I love the characters in the book. I do wish that they were be able to communicate with each other later on. I wish there was more after the sex scene. It was OK ending, but I wish there was more.

Virtual Voice is not for me

I loved the storyline—great job to the author. I continued to push through to the end only because of the storyline. The monotone voice of the virtual voice is unbearable. The male voice and the female voice were identical. There were very little to no fluctuations in vocal tone, and as short as this story was, it took everything within me to focus and push through to the end.
