Well written, engaging and charmingly narrated

I hesitated to buy this boom since there were no reviews, but I’m so glad I did. Narrated by the author, The Kitchen describes period kitchens, menus and lifestyles in warm and lively detail. It has given me interesting ideas for my kitchen remodel and also led to reflections on slavery, privilege and our values. Thank you for this book John Ota!
