great find

really enjoyed the story, felt characters could have been more developed and it took me a minute to get past the robotic narrator. but otherwise ok.

Very titalating story

This is very, very sexy with nods to bondage, voyeurism, etc…
I didn’t understand how Vair knew what kinks Amy would enjoy, could know that he was in love after only five or six weeks, could keep his distance for weeks on end, had a good understanding of people psychiatrically, or even how he managed to get her office sound-proofed without Amy knowing about it.
It is a good book but don’t read it in front of anyone else because you might get embarrassed by your reaction to it.

I wish they had talked about having kids I know romance is nice but what kind of future is more they could have figured that if they are so smart.

BDSM

I thoroughly enjoyed the hell out this book. I could not stop listening. Love is the one thing that helps us overcome all the silly walls we put up. We purposely separate and categorize one another which limits our life's experiences. This book highlights all of those excuses we use to justify our actions. This is a great book. The sexy steamy scenes are whispers of wished. I just can't get enough.

Missing parts of the story!

I realize that these types of books are vehicles for hot sex scenes. However the least they could do was expand the story to include more info about the hero’s past life, his world, what their future plan for earth might be and,particularly, What marriage meant on his planet. Missed opportunities for a good writer.

This is an extended version of the short story, X-Club. It takes place three years before the beginning of Korum and Mia's story. It's a story about a young ambitious journalist and her desire to write a story that matters. She and her friend Jay decide to find out what an x-club or xenoclub really is. She's determined to write an article about the truth behind the clubs not the Krinar themselves. It's not necessary to read this in order to understand or enjoy Mia and Korum's story. I really enjoyed the new material added in. Well done to the authors. The narrator also did a great job performing this story.

Anna Zaires is an excellent writer!

Love the Krinar series with Anna Zaires, I wish she would write more. They are very fast reads, since the stories are so well done.

I enjoyed this prequel start

For a lead in to the series (there are several more 0. books) leading to the first novel, I absolutely enjoyed this. It was full of dysfunction and personal trials and some great moments that made me snicker to myself as Vair kept trying to win Amy over. I will continue this series and enjoy more snickers and trials for more characters to come. I hope you enjoyed this one as much as I did.
