In modern day Edinburgh our reality is beginning to break down. A suicide victim fails in his attempt but ends up face to face with an Angel, an imprisoned serial killer draws pictures of real events he couldn't have seen, while a teenage tearaway runs amok believing his life to be a violent video game.
Stuck in the middle is Inspector Harvey Cooper, an experienced policeman who doesn't believe in the supernatural, struggling to keep up and piece together the events unfolding in his City. The answer may lie within a heavenly book, but only by understanding it can anyone hope to save The Life Machine and the universe that we know.

Amazing Story
I have read this series of books. They are fantastic reads. To hear them read aloud by the author himself, creates a completely new experience. I heard little bits of detail I missed the first time I read The Life Machine, adding to the storyboard I thought I had completed in my head.
I have heard other audio books, which have been read by celebrities, sound no where near as high quality as this.
If this is how book one sounds, then roll on book two and three!!
